I recommend using plastic canvas or 14ct Aida Fabric
36 x 22 stitches

On 32ct fabric, stitching 2 over 2 will give you:
2.3 x 1.4 inches (5.7cm x 3.5cm)

On 14ct fabric, stitching 1 over 1 will give you:
2.6 x 1.6 inches (6.5cm x 4cm)

Add margins to your fabric so the design is not too close to the sides

Use 2 strands of floss
